In “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya Results of Meeting with Adygeya President Discussed

The executive committee of “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya on January, 28th discussed the results of the meeting of the delegation with the Adygeya president Aslan Tkhakushinov. The meeting, we shall remind, had taken place on January, 25th and the reason for it was disagreement of Adygeyan public with the new borders of the SFD and the NCFD, as well as their worry connected with the public statements of the federal politicians concerned the status of republics.

The executive committee confirmed the decisions on bringing into the agenda of the nearest session of the council of the organization the question on necessity of carrying out of a public meeting and the All-Adygeyan congress. The third item which should be considered at the session of the council was the reply of the Ministry of Internal Affairs across Adygeya to the head of the republic, connected with the fact of interdiction Adyghe Djegu in the New Year’s Eve in Maykop.

“That is a shocking answer, the head of “Adyghe Khasa” of Adygeya Arambiy Hapay commented at the session. The Ministry of Internal Affairs categorically denied the fact of interdiction of Adyghe Djegu. And the ministry presents it that way to the leadership of our republic. In connection to this affair we had addressed not to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and to Adygeya president. We expect an official reply to it before a next session of the council. Then we shall decide what we should do then”.

At the session the words of Adygeya president Aslan Tkhakushinov in occasion of the threats to the status of Adygeya were analyzed especially carefully. Participants of the meeting with him told that, in opinion of the head of the republic, now there are no reasons for such fears. But how the head of the republic could act if the reasons arise — the answer of the president was treated different ways.

In that connection already after the session an offer was sounded (at presence of representatives of the executive authority of the republic) — to sound the president a wish — to express in this occasion his thoughts publicly and clearer.
