Within the limits of the governmental hour at the 56th session of the Council of Republic of the State Soviet-Khase of Adygeya on October, 26th they considered the question on the situation developed around the republican newspaper «Sovietskaya Adygeya» which, we shall remind is published in Russian. On its base by constituency of the editor-in-chief and the sales manager they began publication of the other newspaper – «New Adygeya»..
The situation was aggravated with that on the newspaper’s settlement account the Cabinet of the republic had already transferred the first tranche of the planned 500 thousand rubles. Deputies had regarded the fact as an attempt of the Cabinet to found own publication whereas «Soviet Adygeya” itself does not print many of the parliament’s materials.
The minister of culture and press Kasey Khachegogu and the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Alexander Sheludshev answered inconvenient questions. Under the parliamentarians’ decision analysis of the situation would proceed at the sitting of the council of founders of the main official newspaper of the republic. At the same place, probably, they would also define a scapegoat.
