«Adyghe Khase» of Adygeya republic addressed to the president А.К. Tkhakushinov with a reference, in which it was stated:
The public movement «Adyghe Khase» of Adygeya Republic expresses the deep concern in connection with intentions of the Maykop department of the Kuban Cossack army to achieve granting Cossacks functions on protection of the public order, security in the establishments of preschool and school education. Supposing that safety should be provided by the law-enforcement bodies of Adygeya Republic, instead of any public organizations. Granting of Cossacks with militian functions in the national subjects, including Adygeya Republic, would have negative consequences.
In that connection we ask you to arrange to prevent such events’ occurring. We consider very important peace preservation, public calmness and friendship among the peoples of Adygeya Republic.
