In the elections on March 11th this year 82 Adygs, 78 Russian, 3 Armenians and 1 Greek were elected deputies of the area and (one) town council. We shall remind, the elections passed in Ghiaginsky, Koshehablsky, Krasnogvardeysky, Maykopsky, Shovgenovsky, Takhtamukaysky, Teuchezhsky areas and Adygheysk town. In total 562 candidates had applied for the deputy mandates, thus 164 mandates «were played», “Caucasian unit” correspondent informed.
In Adygheysk town 50 men stood for 16 mandates. From among them — 1 Russian, the others are Adygs. So one Russian and the Adygs received mandates.
In Ghiaginsky area 36 people stood for 15 mandates. From among them — 3 Adygs, the others — Russians. All the mandates were won by Russians.
In Koshehablsky area 69 people stood for 23 mandates. From among them — 42 Adygs, the others — Russians. 8 Russians and 15 Adygs were elected.
In Krasnogvardeysky area 61 people stood for 19 mandates. From among them — 37 Russians, the others Adygs. 12 Russians and 7 Adygs won.
In Maykopsky area 103 candidates for 33 mandates stood. From among them — 5 Armenians, 5 Adygs, 1 Tatar, 1 Azerbaijanian, 1 Greek, the others — Russians. 3 Armenians, 1 Greek, the others — Russians — were elected.
In Takhtamukaysky area 93 candidates got 25 mandates stood. From among them — 55 Adygs, 36 Russians, 1 Armenian, 1 German. There were deputies 17 Adygs, 8 Russians.
In Shovgenovsky area 28 candidates for 15 mandates stood. From In Teuchezhsky area 44 candidates for 18 mandates stood. From among them — 1 Russian, the others — Adygs. 1 Russian, the others Adygs won. among them — 21 Adygs and 7 Russians. 11 Adygs and 4 Russians won.
Let’s remind, on March 11th in Adygeya simultaneously they elected heads of 4 areas – Ghiaginsky, Takhtamukaysky, Krasnogvardeysky and Maykopsky. The same parity took place there, too – two from the elected are Russians (Evgenie Kovalev – Maykopsky area and Anatoly Cherkov — Ghiaginsky area), two Adygs (Vyacheslav Thitljanov – Krasnogvardeysky area and Rizo Pshidatok Takhtamukaysky area).
