Almir Abregov: Putin’s visit to Jordan can be very important

Director of the Adygeya National museum Almir Abregov considers that in Russia and even in Moscow they do not know about existence of Circassian (Adygeyan) foreign Diaspora. He reminded, in particular, that during some time in Russia they talked about the foreign Chechen Diaspora as an international factor.

Then, answering the questions of journalists, Sergey Yastrzhembsky (the assistant to the president of Russian Federation, his special representative on development of relations with the European Union), notified that there, abroad, “another Diaspora” exists. But what concrete it is, Yastrzhembsky did not specify.

Therefore, Abregov pointed, the direct acquaintance with Adygeyan Diaspora, especially, at the highest state level can have for Adygs a huge value. As a whole, the situation when the Adygeyan theme of the visit of the president of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to Jordan is not covered in the Russian mass-media is a defect of the presidential press-service.

Decision of the president of Russian Federation to visit Adyghe Khases of Jordan, in Abregov’s opinion, was affected by many factors, including the protests of the world Adygeyan community sounded both at the all-Russian, and at the international levels.
