The book «Circassian riding – Zech’e», with the subtitle — «From the history of Circassian military life» was published in Nalchik, IА REGNUM correspondent informed. The book, representing the deep scientific researches of the riding traditions, developed during centuries of the military life of Circassians, is as much unique as its author’s destiny is tragic. The master of historical degree and the coordinator of the nongovernmental organization “Caucasian forum”, Aslanbek Marzey is considered to be one of the most talented young scientists of Kabardino-Balkaria. It’s been several years since Marzey serves time in a jail of strictly regime. In condition of affect the young scientist killed his son-in-law, protecting his sister’s life. Aslanbek Marzey continues researches at place of his imprisonment.
The book «Circassian riding – Zech’e» is published in the limited circulation on a sponsor’s means. The research received a high estimation of the Institute of Ethnology of the Academy of sciences of Russia. «Zech’e» offers its reader the sight different to the official standard version of history of Circassians in the XVIII century and the beginning of XIX century. The book is richly illustrated with pictures of artists of the last centuries, and photos of unique samples of the Circassian weapons from funds of the National museum of Kabardino-Balkaria.
The book «Circassian riding» is exposed on sale in Nalchik in the ethnic shop «Adyghe Une». «Aslanbek’s family now has some financial difficulties – he has three small children. Therefore from sale of his book we shall transfer all gathering Marzey’s spouse», — told the shop’s owner Majid Utyzh to IА REGNUM correspondent.
