The protest action against celebrating 450-th anniversary of Adygs’ voluntary association with the Russian state and the Olympiad-2014 in Sochi was carried out today by Circassian organization of Turkey «Jineps» in front of the Russian embassy in Istanbul, “Caucasian unit» correspondent informed referring to «Nart Agency».
In the reference the initiators of the meeting stated that the action was prepared by the organization, one of the ideological norms of which internationalism was declared. So, proceeding from the internationalism, it decided to organize the action of public protest. About it, according to protesters, both their posters and slogans testify.
In the opinion of the participants of the action, and celebrating of 450-th anniversary, and, especially, intention to have the Olympiad on the place, where in the recent past the genocide was committed – nothing else but a display of imperialism. Instead of recognizing the fact of the genocide, having demonstrated their conscience, humanity, they changes the past in a favour to themselves.
The organization «Jineps» is far from accusing in occurring the Russian people — it feel to it the same respect, as well as to the other peoples of the world. All those measures are favourable not to it, and to the ruling top leadership. And the Russian people appears to be a part of those, with which help the authorities receive what they want.
The organization emphasized that it acted not only against the Russian imperialism, but also, for example, against the American one- against such state system, when the peoples are not enabled to work for their freedom, to create it on their own.
During the action of protest they also said about what the organization «Jineps» stands up for. Those are democracy, in particular, in Northern Caucasus, freedom and unity in the name of freedom.
