The president of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh took part in the session of the administration and the assembly of Gagry area of the country devoted to the results in the national a-economic complex in 2005. As IА REGNUM correspondent reported, the plan of the forecast parameters on manufacture and services by enterprises and organizations of the area, as a whole, was executed 128,4 percent.
Comparative growth of manufacture and services made 200 percent in all branches of economy. Planned profit targets of enterprises of the area were executed 88,3 percent.
The president of Abkhazia focused attention of the leadership and managing subjects of Gagry area on insufficiently active development in the agrarian sector that has a high potential.
«The last resort season revealed serious miscalculations in organization of rest of tourists, system of public catering, rendering of services and accommodations of tourists who arrived unorganized to republic», — Sergey Bagapsh noted.
Having estimated the work of the law-enforcement structures «rather good as a whole», the president specified to the area militia department’s management and the area department of the State security service necessity of strengthening of struggle against criminality, coordination of interdepartmental activities for prevention and suppression of criminal acts, in particular during the resort season.
Sergey Bagapsh attract attention of heads of institutions of local government in the structure of Gagry area to inadmissibility of autocratic capture of lands, not authorized construction of objects of trade and public catering.
«Not undertaking of effective measures concerned such facts will cause personal responsibility of heads of local authorities», — warned the leader of Abkhazia.
