To Karachaevo-Circassia with a working visit the parliamentary delegation of the State Duma of Russian Federation led by the vice-chairman the State Duma Alexander Babakov arrived. As they informed IА REGNUM correspondent in the press-service of the president of the republic on April 11, the official purpose of the trip was examining the situation in the region «from within».
«During the trip we are going to discuss the questions of economic development, prospects of the bilateral inter-parliamentary communications and the opportunities of the economic interaction», — the vice-chairman of the State Duma of Russian Federation Alexander Babakov at the press conference for the regional mass-media informed.
«Our task is to learn what ways of solving important socio economic problems in the subjects, to issue these problems as legislative initiatives and to work on their solving», — Babakov added.
