Elections to the Council of the Central charitable “Adyghe Khasa” of Jordan which should have taken on July, 15th, were not organized as there was no quorum. According to the charter of the organization in the elections not less than a half of the members of the organization should participate.
As Nauryz Pshidatok told NatPress about the event, now in the organization there is a rivalry among different groups for leadership, and the postponing of the elections, probably, could be connected with that struggle. “Elections are appointed to July, 29th, being delayed for two weeks”, he said.

In the present elections two groups oppose each other. The group which calls itself «Future» put forward the list of its members of the Council with 15 persons, which headed by Muhamad Asyko. The second group “Renewing and Development”, headed by Samir Kardan, had prepared the list from 15 persons. As the self-promoted candidate Husein Edydj acts.
Let’s remind, besides that Khasa in Jordan there is one more Circassian organization “Friends of Circassians of Caucasus”. That is more political than cultural association aimed on the global resolution of the Circassian problem.
