It will be already the second trip of the well-known children’s dancing collective from Enem settlement of Adygeya Republic to the Near East and the Promised land. In total for seven incomplete years of existence of the ensemble created under the initiative and at financial support of the deputy of the State Soviet-Khasa of Adygeya, vice-president of International Circassian Association Mugdin Chermit, had visited already six countries of Adygeyan foreign Diaspora’s residing — Syria, Israel, Jordan, Germany and twice — Turkey. Besides the young dancers made fascinating visits to regions of residing of Circassians on the historical native land — Kabardino-Balkaria, Uspensky area of Krasnodar region and the Black sea Shapsugia.
Program of the present trip of «Nef» to Israel and Jordan where the ensemble had been already on tour in the summer of 2007, was prepared in a view of new ideas and creative thoughts, Mugdin Chermit told in his interview to the newspaper «Shapsugia». Earlier we, as a rule, «isolated» in ourselves, gave concerts only for our compatriots living on the foreign land. It let us unite our Diaspora, «to stir up» our compatriots, to focus their attention on necessity of preservation of the spiritual heritage, cultural originality, and the native language. This time the problem before the collective is more complex: besides solo performances in Amman and Wadisir, as well as Kfar-Kama and Rihaniya, concerts for aboriginals of Israel and Jordan, and numerous tourists coming to these countries are also planned. I think no one needs explanations about how much it is important: we should propagandize more widely our ancient and unique culture, make its common property. I think that we can bring our mite in this good affair, too.
The tours of «Nef» will take about three weeks. On July, 15th the ensemble will go a flight from Krasnodar to the capital of Jordan, and therefrom — at once to Israeli aul Kfar-Kama where it will spend for seven days. Almost a week the young performers from Adygeya will stay in Rihaniya. The closing stage of the visit will take place in Amman, whence the collective on August, 5th will go back home. Beside the concerts a sated excursion program, dialogue with compatriots, youth Adyghe Djegu are also planned.
As well as before, the numerous delegation into which besides the dancers and the musicians scientists and a group of journalists are also included, will stay in local Adygeyan families, that, in the opinion of “Nef” founder Mugdin Chermit, serves as much as possible to the fast acquaintance and rapproachement of the Circassians living on the historical native land and with the compatriots living on the foreign land, allows plunging into the local language environment at once.
Information covering of the visit in the printed mass-media and the Internet will be provided by newspaper «Shapsugia». So – till the next meeting!
