World famous film director Alexander Sokurov opened a creative workshop in the Kabardino-Balkarian state university. At the faculty of art and mass media to specialties «Direction of cinema and TV» and «Cinematology» there will be trained twenty one students. Alexander Nikolaevich was engaged in selection of the students.

Celebrities connected with cinema had been invited to the opening action; they, according to the tradition, were met in Zolsky area on the border with Stavropol Territory. According to one of guests — film producer Sergey Konov, they got an idea — to shoot together with Hollywood professionals a feature film about well-known Circassian tsar Inal Light.
