At the first stage of the judicial session of Maykop town court concerned the case of the Ecological Watch in Northern Caucasus against construction of the road to the mountain-skiing complex in Lunar Glade (October 1) the applicants attached to the case some additional requirements and determined new respondents. The second session was nominated to October 14.
According to the head of the organization — claimant Andrey Rudomaha, it was difficult to expect any objective and fast verdict in the mentioned case, especially on the background of «unexpected» for the opponents of the ecologists’ victory in the other case — on changing of zoning of the Sochi National park. Therefore ecologists prepared for a long legal struggle.
«As a whole we are sure in that, — the ecologist in his conversation with “Caucasian unit» correspondent said, — if the court is objective, we shall win, because the infringements are simply extreme. That is, in the territory of the World Natural Heritage, the nature monument — Caucasian reserve — construction of a road is organized, that is strictly forbidden by the federal legislation».
The great doubts are connected to that even now, in the court of the first instance «there could be seen the whole position — too serious interests were touched by the litigation».
Necessity of the additions to the case the ecologist explained with that, despite of cancellation of the decree of the Adygeya president about abolition of the nature protection status of «Upper flows of the rivers Psheha and Pshehashha», the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic (corr.: one of the respondents) referred to the state expert appraisal. It was authorized by the two instances: The Adygeya State expertise and the Management of the Chief State expertise of Russia across Rostov area.
