On November 25 in Maykop the regional festival “Return to cradle – the way to revival” organized by the Centre of the national culture (CNC) of Adygeya Republic came to the end. From November 23 till November 25 in Adygeya capital — Maykop town – exhibitions of the masters of Arts, dramatized performances, national games, fancy-dress concerts and tasting of dishes of the national cookhouse took place.
As “News-Northern Caucasus” reported, the holiday became the course of the CNC’s work for preservation and development of the national cultural traditions, customs and ceremonies. The festival completed the sequence of the actions organized and conducted by the republican Centre of the national culture such as the celebration of the New Year on the Adygeyan calendar in March, 2006, the IX Republican children-youth creative arts festival “Adygeya’s little stars” and the X All-Russian children-youth creative arts festival “The blue bird”.
