In Kelermesskaya village of Ghiaghinsky area the memorial plate devoted to the full holder of Georgievsky award, hereditary nobleman of the Kuban Cossack army Vyacheslav Tkachev (this year he is 125), is opened. He was at war on the party of the White Guard, and then — emigrated to Yugoslavia. In 1944 he was arrested and repressed for 10 years of prison, the Adygeya state TV-radio company informed.
Descendants of his kin are not present in a village now. But old residents tell that after the general was released he came back to his native house which was kept hitherto in order to take from a hiding place his state awards.
As the historical researches of the local residents assured, it is still not well-known so far in the general’s destiny the fact that he in due time was one of the founders of the Russian military air forces.
For creation of a «bridge» between the past and the future in the village they made much, it was spoken also in the reporting of the Adygeya state TV-radio company. The local museum works; they fixed a memorial stone for the village’s foundation; a chapel in memory “about 120 innocent Cossacks killed during the Civil war” was constructed.
