Under the initiative of «Adyghe Khase» Federation of Europe together with the deputy of the Europarliament of Adygeyan origin Jem Ozdemir on October 15 of this year in the building of the Europarliament in Bruxelles (Belgium) they will carry out the Day of Circassian culture. “Caucasian unit» correspondent informed it referring to the web-site of the mentioned Khase federation.
The deputies of the Europarliament, scientists, representatives of Adygeyan foreign Diaspora and the historical native land will be invited to the action. The purpose of the action is acquaintance of wider circle of Europeans with the culture, history, customs and modern problems of Adygs. At the meeting with the deputies it is planned to carry them a package of the documents concerning those problems.
Let’s note, the Day of Adygeyan culture in the building of the Europarliament will be organized for the second time. For the first time it passed the last year and had applied character.
The Jem Ozdemir belongs to the Turkish Adygeyan Diaspora. He hadn’t been to Northern Caucasus yet, but, by some informal data, he plans to visit Adygeya the coming month.
