The sub-program «Maintenance with habitation of young families», a part of the federal target program «Habitation» for 2002-2010, had been implemented in KBR since 2003. For this time for young families’ subsidizing from the federal budget they had given 32,5 million rbl. That allowed improving living conditions of 307 young families. This year 240 young families had such opportunity. Means from the federal budget — 24,8 million rbl. — were allocated on the competitive basis from the Federal educational agency and were distributed among towns and areas of the republic on the corresponding population quotas. Young families from Nalchik will get 140 thousand rubles each, and countrymen — 100 thousand rubles that will be transferred to accounts of the building firms or habitation proprietors. In total, according to the KBR Ministry on youth and sports affairs, in town and area administrations of KBR there were registered over 2 thousand young families needed living conditions improvement.
