In Maykop Department of Internal Affairs round table devoted to problems of youth Adygeyan-Chechen relations passed

In the Department of Internal Affairs of Maykop on December, 8th the round table devoted to problems of the mutual relations of Adygeyan-Chechen youth passed.

Timur Kudinetov, an active worker of the social movement «Circassian congress » of Adygeya — participant of the round table — informed about it Caucasus Times correspondent. In the discussion of the problem the leaders of the main religions — mufti of Adygeya and Krasnodar territory Nurby Emizh, archbishop Maykopsky and Adygeyan Panteleimon, representatives of «Union of Slavs of Adygeya», the Azerbaijan community of the republic participated.

Representatives of mass-media of the republic as noted Kudinetov, did not take part.

According to the head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the town Vladimir Kotljarov who opened the round table, the problem of Adygeyan-Chechen mutual relations (basically of student youth), aggravated more and more. If in the last years skirmishes between students Adygs and Chechens were observed in the beginning of the academic year, and then the parties calmed down, this year fights happen since these days.

Fortunately, told Kotljarov, while all fights ended without fatal consequences. Still it is difficult to imagine how the situation would develop if such occurred.

The round table participants suggested brining the problem at the governmental level — to ask members of the republican parliament, Adygeya president to cause anxiety with the problem the management of Chechen Republic. The participants considered necessary to organize direct contacts with public, in particular, religious organizations, imams of Chechen Republic for working out of the plan of joint actions.

Among other means of influence on the youth they named carrying out of a round table on TV, increase of responsibility of leaders of the national communities, legislative influence on migration processes and others.

Note: in Adygeya, basically in Maykop, on the informal data, not less than 10 thousand Chechens live.
