In Maykop on June 28 in the first trial passage on the route a new type of the town transport — electrobus — «hybrid» of bus and trolley-bus went. Among its passengers there was the mayor of Adygeya capital Nicolay Pivovarov.
As the head of the town administration noted after the trip, addressing to the journalists, with appearance of electrobuses, town authorities connect further reconstruction of the municipal transport infrastructure. Now, N. Pivovarov told, in that sphere they had overloaded transportation. On the town, as well as suburb routes (where there are no trolleybus lines) 570 routing taxi of automobile «Gazel» work. They serve 47 routes. Electrobuses, being ecologically clean type of transport, can go on all those routes without exception.
Cost for the ticket in such electrobus thus would be cheaper, than in routing taxi because of a plenty of sits in them, and that they should be explored by enterprise specially donated by the municipal authorities, N. Pivovarov explained.
At the same time, the mayor notified, organization the full-scaled use of electrobuses on the town routes of city would take about three months. It would be necessary to fulfil «technical conditions, to make accounts on amortization in order to really see, haw much this type of transport is cheaper».
The head of the town also expressed his hope that after that electrobuses would be needed not only in Maykop, but also in other cities of the SFD.
Let’s remind, assembling of the first electrobuses was organized on the technical base of the Maykop town trolleybus depot, where the assembly of trolley-buses had been earlier adjusted. The model was technically developed by one of the Moscow institutes.
