In 2008 the government of Kabardino-Balkarian Republic is going to lower its donation down to 49 %. The chairman of Kabardino-Balkarian government Andrey Jarin informed that on June 21 at the meeting with the heads of municipalities of the republic, IА REGNUM correspondent reported.
According to Jarin, it would enable to not sign an agreement with the Ministry of finance of Russian Federation limiting the financial independence of the region. While the donation level of the budget of Kabardino-Balkaria makes 57 %.
At the same time serious restrictions of the financial independence are expected for municipalities of the republic, their level of donations will be from 30 % up to 70 %, and that makes majority of municipal formations of Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. They will be compelled to sign agreements with the Ministry of finance of Kabardino-Balkaria, which will limit essentially their powers to dispose of financial means.
