According to the Ministry of Emergency Measures during the New Year’s holidays in Dombai 40 snowboarders and skiers were traumatized. Basically there were traumas connected with falling during descent — cut wounds, stretching, dislocations and crises of finiteness. As they informed IА REGNUM correspondent in the republican Ministry of Emergency Measures, the greatest number of the traumas belonged to «savages» preferring descents on wild slopes and boozers, who stood on skis intoxicated.
During the New Year’s holidays firemen had to extinguish 16 fires, 5 fires from them occured in Cherkessk: they were 2,5 times more than in the past year. The overwhelming majority — 14 ignitions – happened in habitation and was caused by fire handling and infringements of safety precautions in use of household appliances.
