In Ankara the Khasa city executive committee of published on the web-site of Circassian Khasa Federation of Turkey on June, 2nd the reference to the compatriots. In it it was stated:
“In Adygeya Republic this year the quota for the compatriots, wishing to get citizenship, is increased up to 1500 people. We, members of Khasa executive committee of Ankara, all are going to Adygeya.
Members of our Khasa address to compatriots with the appeal to hear the call of the Native land.
Khasa Executive committee of Ankara city”.
Khasa Ankara is in the Circassian Khasa Federation of Turkey which, in its turn, consists of about 60 organizations.
Let’s note, the quota increase is a very important question in the repatriation affairs. But the opportunity of reception of citizenship was limited not only quoting. According to the existing legislation citizenship can be received on the expiration of 5 years. For this purpose it is necessary to receive all over again “the sanction to temporary residing”. After a year of residing a repatriate can get «residence permit» which is necessary to confirm within the next 4 years.
