The State Soviet-Khase of Adygeya before the beginning of the session heard representatives of the tenants of quarter 231 of Maykop, demanding to stop construction 6-storied shopping-entertaining centre in the territory of their quarter. Caucasian unit correspondent was informed that by the press-secretary of the head of the republic Svetlana Tesheva.
The Adygeya president Aslan Tkhakushinov who was present at the session, supported in general the requirement of the citizens, she also told. However he notified thus that he has no right to impose any opinion to the court. At the moment, the press-secretary explained, this construction is analyzed by the judicial instance.
The parliament, having heard the tenants, and the opinions of officials and deputies, made a decision to create a deputy commission for definition of legality of the centre’s construction.
Let’s remind, several days earlier the tenants of the quarter had organized a picket against that construction. Then they sent their application to the State Office of Public Prosecutor of Russia with request to understand its legality.
As the chairman of the Committee on legality, legislation and questions of local self-management of the republican parliament Anatoly Osokin commented the situation for mass-media then: «In this case, allocation of land and beginning of construction contradict two federal laws — «Town-building Code», and the law «About local self-management».
