The head of Adygeya capital administration Nikolay Pivovarov addressed to the town citizens in the newspaper «Maykop news» on December, 17th. In it he replied the requirement of some public organizations on his resignation, reported «Caucasian unit» correspondent.
In the material «other defenders of people’s interests» were accused of that «the main purpose of their so-called activities is their aspiration to personal enrichment for our account». «What other way could it be possible to regard publications in private and state mass-media materials which contain open lie and mislead population, excite people, push for destabilization and split in society», — it was spoken further in the reference.
«Yes, during all this time I did not consider necessary to participate in public dispute with these «fighters for their personal happiness», having concentrated on resolution of the main and sharpest directions of social and economic problems, qualitative execution of the budget of the capital of republic, — remarked Pivovarov. — Results of the three-year work testify for themselves, and it is not necessary magnifying glasses unbiassedly to see scales of the changes. I am convinced that in the town council of People’s Deputies, in the town administration those who do not intend to be engaged in cheap politics and demagogy work today — those who had realized all the completeness of the responsibility for people’s destiny».
In the conclusion the head of the town administration called everybody «to regard as paramount importance resolution of social and economic problems, having rejected political and personal ambitions».
Note: on the eve in Adygeya capital the staff of the public association «For justice», has been created during preparation and carrying out of a picket on December, 13th by people who considered that in Maykop it was high time to put things in legal order. The main requirement of the association is resignation of the mayor and institution against him a criminal proceeding (item 285 of the Criminal Code of Russian Federation – “no-purpose expenditure of means”).
Today the association has planned carrying out of the next protest action. However while on the main square of Adygeya capital everything is quiet. In the staff «Caucasian unit» correspondent was explained with that sanction to carrying out of the action in the town administration was not received, and it was postponed to December, 23rd.
