New African pigs plague center is revealed in Adygeya

In Maykopsky area of Adygeya a new center of the African pigs plague is revealed. And if the first of the centers was localized in settlement Khamyshki then the second was found out in wood vicinities of Dagestanskaya village.

“When the results of laboratory researches became known, Radio of Adygeya informed, members of the republic operative staff gathered for an extraordinary session”. Under the decision of the staff the alienation zone — almost up to borders of Maykop — as much as possible – was increased.

Pigs, located into the specified territory, should be liquidated. And they are about 940. The government redeems those pigs at the price higher than market one; holes in which the burial place will be organized, are ready.

At the session of the operative staff they told that experience of localization of the center of the epidemic in Khamyshki settlement gave nothing. Peasants have pigs not in the shelters, and graze them in a wood that complicates struggle against the disease and creates a threat of new epidemic center.
