18 political organizations of Adygeya, which had decided to unite their efforts in «counteraction to nationalism, xenophobia and religious discord», signed a reference in support of the antifascist pact prepared by the party «United Russia» several days ago. They completely supported necessity of creation of a powerful antifascist movement and named duly signing of the pact by federal parties and movements.
Leaders of the public organizations regretfully noted that in our republic there are some political forces openly preaching nationalism, intolerance and xenofobia from the parliamentary tribunes and in mass-media. «At the same time inhabitants of multinational Adygeya, — it was spoken in the reference, — understand that kindling of interethnic discord can lead to disintegration of the state».
Note: at the federal level the initiative of «United Russia» is already supported by «Free Russia», «Union of Right Forces», «SEPR», «Patriots of Russia», «Party of pensioners» and LDPR. Signing of the document at the regional levels is on. It had been already done in Nizhni Novgorod, Vladimir, and some other regions. In Adygeya the acuteness of the problem is dictated by xenophobian statements of the Union of Slavs.
