On Friday, on December, 30th in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria Nalchik near the town mosque the picket with requirement to institute criminal proceedings against a number of heads of the power structures of republic passed. Under the preliminary information, the picket was connected with infringements during the investigation of Nalchik attack on October, 13th: as mass-media had repeatedly informed, the suspected during the investigation were applied with various forms of using force. As IА REGNUM correspondent reported from the place of the events, he did not manage to find out what were particularly the picketeers’ requirements proved with: right after of the picket’s beginning employees of the law enforcement bodies took away from the picketeers all the posters. Originally nearby 50 people took part in the picket, however, majority of them seeing pressure from the law enforcement bodies soon missed.
During the picket the employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kabardino-Balkaria, introduced as Djappuev, had withdrawn professional certificate from IА REGNUM chief-editor across Northern Caucasus Fatima Tlisova. As Tlisova informed IА REGNUM edition, his actions the employee motivated with that the certificate «could be false» and “should be checked up».
In the nearest future IА REGNUM hopes to receive official explanations from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russian Federation in occasion of the actions of the employee of the ministry. Otherwise the edition reserves the right to address to the Office of Public Prosecutor with requirement to state legal estimation to the incident occurred during the picket.
