As the Adygeya president press-service informed on February 15th, in Moscow under the presidency of the plenipotentiary of the president of Russian Federation in the SFD Dmitry Kozak a sitting of the Commission on improvement social and economic situation in the Southern subjects of Russia took place. From Adygeya at the session there were Aslan Tkhakushinov and deputy of the State Soviet-Khase, the head of the republican Agency on regional development and investments Ghissa Baste.
Besides the declared question, it was spoken in the information of the press-service, “members of the commission discussed measures on elimination of the reasons promoting crimes and offences in the economic sphere”. The question of protection of “the rights and legitimate interests of citizens suffered from default of contracts on construction of objects, conducting with attraction of means of the population” was also considered.
Let’s remind, some time ago (on February 10-13th) the presidents of Adygeya, Kabardino-Balkaria and Ingushetia in the official Russian delegation had visited Jordan where, as it was informed, there is the Adygeyan and the Chechen diasporas (Murat Ziazikov, probably, was included in that delegation because of the last Diaspora).
Considering that they invited to the session Ghissa Baste (the Agency on regional development and investments), we may assume that at the session they also developed the «official state» position towards the will of the Jordanian Northern-Caucasians to participate in development of economy of “their” republics. However the press-service did not mention that.
In connection with that we shall also remind a fragment of the speech of the president of Russia Vladimir Putin at the public forum of the peoples of Caucasus and the South of Russia (Sochi, March 26th, 2004) addressed to the leaders of the regions.
“Now we need as never before the political will of the heads of the regions and initiatives of citizens, businessmen, and entire public community, — the president stated then. – We need novelty and boldness of your approaches, implementation of every viable and absolutely concrete economic project. And, certainly, for us it is extremely important your wide inter-regional cooperation. It is a question of expansion of business contacts, both inside the federal district, and with the diasporas of the Caucasian peoples in other territories of our country and abroad”.
