Andro Gabisoniya representative in Georgia of network of 3 Circassian congresses of Adygea, Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachayvo-Cherkessia, met on April 27, 2011 with Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Relations with Compatriots Residing Abroad, the chairman of the parliamentary friendship group with the republics of North Caucasus Nugzar Tsiklauri.
At this meeting were given additional documents related to the genocide of Circassians. Gabisoniya informed the Committee Chairman that almost all the Circassian diaspora, scattered across the globe joined the request for the recognition of genocide of Circassians.
At the meeting it was emphasized that «Georgia should be able to sort out the demands of today’s time and become a leader in the region, which in its turn can become the center for all Caucasians. And also the fact that «Georgia, while supporting Circassians in this difficult time will get the support and friends in the face of the Circassians in the Caucasus and moreover around the world. «
Apparently, said Andro Gabisoniya, the procedure of recognition of the genocide has entered its final stage and will be recognized as genocide by Georgia in the nearest future.
