Round table, which carrying out the mayoralty of Adygeya capital planned on December, 2nd first at 10.00 a.m., then at 2.00 p.m., did not take place. The assistant to the head of Adygeya capital administration Jury Panov warned about it at the doorway of the hall, and in particular warned those public men who had come to take part in the round table. He also met with IА REGNUM correspondent: «I read: «the Round table — 10 o’clock in the mourning», — and I am surprised to read it. Whence have you learnt it?» On this basis the deputy head of the town administration tried to not let in the hall — among others — the head of the parliament committee of Adygeya Anatoly Osokin.
Maykop mayor Nikolay Pivovarov was not present at the meeting. Panov led it by himself. Opening the assembly, he told that there — at the next session of the Council of Maykop public organizations – the leaders of the republican public organizations were not invited. And nevertheless, having conferred, the heads of the unbidden organizations decided to stay. In their opinion, it was necessary to use that meeting as an opportunity to state their positions.
Note: all the leaders of organizations had the most different claims to the administration. But they converged in one: requirement of resignation of the head of the town Pivovarov. For example, the Council of Maykop workers had legal proceedings with the mayoralty within a year. In the organization’s opinion, increase in tariffs for housing and communal services since January, 1st of this year was illegal and strongly overestimated. That, as the chairman of the organization Valentine Melnikov considers, in particular, mismatched the governmental order of Russian Federation «About federal standards of payments for habitation, municipal services and the order of reimbursement for major overhaul of habitation for 2005».
Within a year town workers organized protest actions. In July, told Melnikov in one of his conversations with IА REGNUM correspondent, the organization appealed to the town Office of Public Prosecutor. In November the republican Office of Public Prosecutor checked up the condition of legality in Maykop. And that check had revealed infringements that, in the opinion of the Council of Maykop workers, should cause the mayor’s resignation and self-dissolution of the town legislative body.
