Opposition between former mayor of Karachaevo-Circassian capital Michael Jakush and the present head of Cherkessk Peter Korotchenko had passed to the new level. Peter Korotchenko suspended M. Jakush’s decision about construction in the republican capital of the 120-room elite house, correspondent of «Caucasian unit» informed.
The sanction was given out to the civil engineering firm «Alliance-agro» and was signed by Michael Jakush. The firm has all necessary documents. But the last decision of the town court does not give the firm an opportunity to begin construction.
Let’s remind, on September, 22nd the Cherkessk court recognized the protest of the public prosecutor of Karachaevo-Circassian capital on Korotchenko’s decision about appointment of Peter Korotchenko the acting head of the town as illegal. The decision confirmed legitimacy of Korotchenko’s decision, and since October, 6th he started discharging of mayor’s duties.
