The agreement about cooperation between Maykop and Sukhum mayors of the capitals of Adygeya and Abkhazia had been signed on October, 26th by Nikolay Pivovarov and Astamur Adleyba. The head of the capital administrations had agreed about development and expansion of the mutually advantageous social and economic, trading, cultural, scientific and technical and information cooperation, rendering of assistance to managing structures, development of partner relations.
The parties also intend to promote mutually advantageous cooperation in the sphere of the passenger transport. They considered the question of trolley buses major overhaul; repair and construction of traction substations, contact networks and other engineering equipment, improvement of city passenger transport organization.
«We have agreed about organization of regular bus service on the route » Maykop-Sukhum», mutual deliveries of production of our local commodity producers, creation of trading houses, firm shops, distribution of trading places in markets», — the head of Sukhum administration told in the interview to «Apsnypress». The agreement would promote training of experts in educational institutions of Maykop and Sukhum, holding of joint cultural-mass actions. «Abkhazia and Adygeya always had close relations. Our brothers from Adygeya have rendered us greater help during the Domestic war of the people of Abkhazia. Now our mutual relations has got official status», — told after the agreement’s signing Astamur Adleyba.
