Troops entered Kabardino-Balkaria

As a source in the law enforcement bodies of KBR informed, on the eve the federal centre had launched transporting of the military forces to Kabardino-Balkaria. According to the data of the source of Caucasus Times, all the previous night long in the airport “Nalchik” military cargo planes landed. In the republic, on some informal information, it was sent a military contingent of 2000 troopers. The town of Nalchik is patrolled by the employees of the Main intelligence management of the ministry of defense in civil clothes. In KBR special state bodies actively operate. The population is afraid of the happened. Republican mass-media do not comment the situation at all.

Let’s remind, according to the information of special services, in KBR about 700 Islamic extremists operate. In 2005 representatives of such grouping had attacked the law enforcement bodies of the republic. As a result of that attack 35 employees of militia and 15 civilians were shot dead. About 100 from among the attackers were liquidated.

In the ministry of n=inner affairs of the republic they refused to make any comments on the present situation.
