This Sunday the known Adygeyan composer (the national artist of Russian Federation) Umar Tkhabisimov could be 90. In that connection with that anniversary in Adygeya on August, 16th there were planned the inter-regional festival “I Sing a Song to the Sun”, and the international children’s-youthful festival “Asterisk of Adygeya”, Radio of Adygeya informed.
In aul Koshehabl, the regional center, the evening-concert to which relatives of the composer, his associates — Rose Sheozheva, Cheslav Anzarokov, Murat Besidzhev, Chapay Murat and others were invited, takes place. The known composers of Kabardino-Balkaria and Karachaevo-Circassia are also invited to the evening-concert.
Let’s note, Umar Tkhabisimov was born in aul Hodz of Koshekhablsky area. First of all, his name refers to as the author of the music to the hymn of Adygeya Republic. However he is loved by people owing to many songs — lyrical, wedding, comic, and so on.
