The UN Supreme Commissioner on human rights Louise Arbor, arriving on February 27 to Abkhazia, was met by the president Sergey Bagapsh and the minister of foreign affairs Sergey Shamba. About that the journalists were informed by the press-service of the ministry of foreign of Abkhazia.
In the foreign department they specified that Louise Arbor was accompanied by employees of the UN Supreme commissioner on human rights office Anton Nikiforov and Silta Jorjiadis, and the senior adviser of the UN Supreme commissioner on human rights on Southern Caucasus Vladlen Stafanov.
The UN Supreme Commissioner on human rights was going to meet and representatives of several local non governmental organizations.
