Adigha help (The Institute of Humanitarian Studies in Nalchik)
Fellow Circassians, we must mobilize and let our voice be heard. The Institute of Humanitarian Studies in Nalchik may be shut down. It is one of only two institutes in the whole world committed to Circassian language, culture and history. It employs over 100 scholars and has produced some amazing work. Below is an open letter from the Institute. It has been translated from Russian into English and Turkish.
Consultations about promotion of candidates for the post of Adygeya head took place
Consultations of the person authorized by the president of Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, with the political party “United Russia”, concerning promotion of candidates for the post of the head of the executive bodies of Adygeya Republic took place on Sunday, November, 27th, ER.RU informed.
Institute of Humanitarian Studies in KBR shall be liquidated?
According to an internal source - an employee of the Kabardino-Balkarian Institute of Humanitarian Studies - in the near future this public institution will be abolished. The form of its liquidation has not been specified, it can be firing of the most part of the staff and moving of the institute onto the outskirts of the city, or their complete elimination in early 2012. Today, the fears of staff of the Institute are caused by regular inspections of all possible state instances, removal of the computer techniques, accounting papers and other important documents of the institute.
Statement of members of the executive committee of PM “Adyghe Khasa — Circassian Parliament” (refutation of 11/19/2011)
The appeared on 11/19/2011 statement of the chairman of the public movement "Adyghe Khasa - Circassian Parliament" Hapay A.Y. on the information portal "Yuga.ru" and IА "REGNUM" (concerned cancelling of the announced decision about sending the International Circassian Association initiatives for announcement of the year of the 150th anniversary of the end of the Russian-Circassian war as the year of “Memory and Mourning” of Circassian people) does not correspond to reality i.e. incorrect interpretation of the statement of Arambiy Hapay takes place.

In Istanbul on an old building’s attic photo of group of first Circassians-immigrants was found
In Istanbul on an attic of an old building a photo of a group of Circassians of the time of their exile from Caucasus was found. The photo is being multiplied and demonstrated to the local Circassians, however meanwhile nobody can define the men on the photo. Its copy also appeared at Adygeya republican institute of humanitarian researches (ARIHR) of Tembot Kerashev’s name.

We the Indigenous Circassian Adyghe Nation the Autochthonous noble People of the North Caucasus “Circassia” acknowledge and support the United Nation that they solemnly proclaim the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples as a standard of achievement to be pursued in a spirit of partnership and mutual respect.
