A session of the republican sanitary epidemic commission passed on February 17th in Maykop. On the agenda there was preventive maintenance of virus diseases, in particular, the bird’s flu, IА REGNUM correspondent reported. According to the chief of the Russian customer control body on Adygeya Larissa Doleva, their special fears were caused by detection of the disease in Dagestan.
In Adygeya, she told, actions on preventive maintenance of the bird’s flu had been begun in October of the last year. Then they organized first vaccination at every poultry-farming factory where they imparted both birds, and attendants.
Management of poultry-farming factories got for personnel specialized suits offered in Russia, as well as stocks of disinfecting means. In addition doctors organized constant supervision of health of workers of the enterprises.
«We have investigated over 3 thousand heads of birds with various diagnoses that had comprised suspicion on the bird’s flu, — noted Doleva. – In order to exclude such suspicion completely, we have rechecked our results in the Krasnodar regional veterinary laboratory. Analyses were negative».
